TVS-2MS is the only Russian light aircraft that carries passengers commercially. The filming crew was invited by Rusaviaprom, a private factory that builds this aircraft, to visit several regions, from Minsk to Magadan, and created a documentary about day-to-day work of TVS-2MS. During 7 years of scheduled flights TVS-2MS carried more than 65 thousand fare-paying passengers in remote areas of Siberia, Russian North and Russian Far East, including routes that were not served since the USSR dissolution in 1991. This robust and reliable plane can work from short ground airstrips. This plane connects settlements that can’t be reached otherwise. This film is about the plane that was rescued from technical obsolescence and rebuilt into an aircraft useful in the 21st century.
